Ade Olarewaju, M.S., is a microbiologist and the Senior Program Officer for ASM's Global Public Health Programs, which build microbiology laboratory capacity in under-resourced countries. She is also the program lead for the Fleming Fund antimicrobial resistance (AMR) surveillance program in Tanzania. Olarewaju earned her Bachelor of Science degree in microbiology from the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta-Nigeria and her Master of Science degree in environmental health from University of the West of England.
