Katherine Caflisch is a Ph.D. candidate at the Mayo Clinic Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences in Rochester, Minn. and a member of ASM’s Subcommittee on the Status of Women in °®¶¹´«Ã½ (SSWiM). In addition to her research on Staphylococcus aureus bacteriophage, Caflisch enjoys exploring topics at the intersection of science and daily life, including the history and culture of science, training and career development, scientific advocacy and biomedical ethics.
