Lizabeth Allison, Ph.D. is Chancellor Professor of Biology at William & Mary. She teaches introductory biology for majors and upper division molecular biology courses, and has mentored graduate students and more than 120 undergraduate research students, many of them coauthoring papers with her. She is lead author on the fifth, sixth and seventh editions of Biological Science (Freeman et al., 2013, 2016 and 2019), and author of Fundamental Molecular Biology, now in its second edition.
