Ronald W. Griffith, DVM, Ph.D., M.S., DACVM, is a professor of veterinary microbiology and preventive medicine at Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Griffith earned his B.S. and DVM at Michigan State University and his M.S. and Ph.D. at Iowa State University.
Griffith has received a number of teaching awards including the State of Iowa Regent's Award for Teaching Excellence, College of Veterinary Medicine's Basic Sciences Teaching Award, the Norden Distinguished Teacher Award.
