Take a Leading Role in Science

Thank you for your interst in this event. Registration is now closed.

Do you know what other skills you need, apart from bench skills, to succeed and become a leader in the microbial sciences? Women representation in leadership is very important . While systemic institutional barriers exist, there are leaderships skills that you can build as postdoctoral women to make the transition and persistence in leadership roles easier.

The Leadership Development Training Series for Postdoctoral Women is a 3-part workshop training series that will cover essential skills focused on becoming a leader in the microbial sciences. Each 90-minute session will include pre-assignments, presentations with breakout sessions, group activities and post-assignments. Your registration requires your acknowledgment that you will attend all sessions and complete pre- and post-assignments. Due to the interactive nature of each session, we will not be sharing the recordings of the sessions.
