Alexis Rose, M.A.
Alexis Rose is a former program coordinator for ASM's Global Public Health Programs in Washington, D.C. She supported workforce development and laboratory capacity building initiatives in Africa, Asia, the Caribbean and Europe. She also aimed to inspire the next generation of science leaders by creating curriculum for the Women in Science (WiSci) Girls' STEAM camp.
Alexis earned her M.A. in international training and eucation at American University, where she studied youth and adult learning theory and researched best practices for education in under-resourced contexts. Before joining ASM, she maintained her passion for global education by teaching English in Thailand and creating educational media at the National Geographic Society.
