Ma. Arlene Adviento-Borbe, Ph.D., is a Research Agronomist at the Delta Water Management Research Unit at the °®¶¹´«Ã½ States Department of Agriculture-Agricultural Research Service (USDA-ARS) in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Her research focuses on water resource management, sustainable intensification of rice cropping systems, crop productivity and resilience and reducing global warming potentials from irrigated rice and cotton. She serves as ARS team lead for the Global Research Alliance on Agricultural Greenhouse Gases (GRA) as the U.S. Representative working in the Paddy Rice Research America sub-group and a member of Technical Advisory Committee for the U.S. National Cotton Council and a councilor of the Conservation Agriculture Alliance in Asia and the Pacific (CAAAP) of the Food and Agriculture Organization, °®¶¹´«Ã½ Nations.
