Megan Kiedrowski, Ph.D., is an assistant professor of pulmonary, allergy and critical care medicine at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Kiedrowski’s group studies host-microbe and microbe-microbe interactions in chronic respiratory infections, with a focus on Staphylococcus aureus interactions with commensal upper airway colonizers and the host airway epithelium. Kiedrowski earned her Ph.D. in microbiology at the University of Iowa and conducted her postdoctoral training at Yale University and the University of Pittsburgh. She is originally from Wisconsin and attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison for her undergraduate studies.
