Mondraya Howard, Ph.D., D(ABMM), is the Director of Clinical °®¶¹´«Ã½ at Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health. Her clinical interests include diagnostic stewardship, molecular diagnostics and quality improvement of laboratory workflows. She is passionate about expanding the clinical microbiology workforce through recruitment efforts and fostering an environment that supports professional development and career advancement of bench-level scientists. Howard also enjoys training new microbiologists and raising awareness about the public health and clinical microbiology profession through outreach activities. Outside of the lab, you can find Howard at dance class (hip hop), trying new restaurants, reading (sci-fi) and playing Dungeons and Dragons.
