Why do people attend ASMCUE?

  • Learn teaching skills that will help you build evidence-based and inclusive STEM classrooms.
  • Share recent findings in biology education research.
  • Incubate ideas with educators at all levels gathered from around the world.
  • Build new relationships with educators and educational partners.
  • Gain inspiration and insights from biology education leaders.
  • Find collaborators for a new scholarly project.
  • Leave feeling re-energized for your love of teaching!

Why should you consider sampling ABRCMS?

  • This co-location of ABRCMS and ASMCUE allows attendees of both conferences to sample content and network with audiences from a different type of conference than they normally attend. We suggest choosing 1 conference to be your primary conference experience.
  • As a science research conference, ABRCMS is a great option to hear new research findings from 12 scientific disciplines. ASMCUE no longer has “scientific research” talks as it did in the past, but sampling ABRCMS is a great way to get up to date on current research and techniques.
  • For over 20 years, the Annual Biomedical Research Conference for Minoritized Scientists (ABRCMS) has been the go-to conference for underrepresented trainees and faculty and program administrators who support them.
  • In 2023, over 5,600 individuals attended ABRCMS.
