ASMCUE Official Hotel: Sheraton Pittsburgh Hotel at Station Square, 300 W. Station Square Dr., Pittsburgh, Penn. 

The venue and the official hotel are 1.3 miles apart. The PRT (Pittsburgh Regional Transit) light rail makes stops near both locations and provides service every 12 minutes between the venue and hotel.

The Pittsburgh International Airport is about 19 miles away from the Sheraton Pittsburgh Hotel at Station Square. 

ASMCUE will convene over 350 microbiology and biology educators from colleges, universities and education-related companies for a leading-edge, interactive and reinvigorating conference. Immerse yourself in 3 days of formal and informal small group discussions, highlighting the latest biological sciences and education research that will renew your love for teaching.

Registration Rates

The co-location of ASMCUE with the gives educators a one-of-a-kind opportunity to sample ABRCMS. An add-on pass to ABRCMS includes admission for all events, excluding meals, on Thursday, Nov. 14, Friday, Nov. 15 and Saturday, Nov. 16. ABRCMS events will be held at the David L. ASMCUE has secured a block of discounted hotel rooms at the Sheraton Pittsburgh Hotel at , 300 W. Station Square Drive, Pittsburgh, Penn. This is a 1.3 miles away from the site of the ASMCUE meeting. Book by Oct. 22, 2024, to secure your hotel room. 

As an exclusive bonus to ASMCUE participants who stay at the Sheraton Pittsburgh Hotel at Station Square, ASMCUE will provide an unlimited Pittsburgh Regional Transit (PRT) pass for your stay in Pittsburgh (pick them up at hotel check-in). The PRT pass will allow you to ride the light rail and Duquesne Incline for easy access to the ASMCUE venue and local neighborhoods.

Cost is $195 per night plus tax.

• Payment. Registration and housing payments must be completed with a credit card at the time of reservation.
• Refunds. Cancellation requests must be received in writing by Oct. 22, 2024, and no refunds will be granted after this date. Cancellations received by Oct. 22, 2024, may be entitled to a refund minus a $100 processing fee. 
• Substitutions. Substitution of registrations is permitted prior to the conference and onsite. Only 1 substitution is permitted per original registrant. The individual submitting the substitution request is responsible for all financial obligations (any balance due) associated with that substitution, as well as updating any contact information. Substitutions must be of the same member status.
• Pre-conference workshops. Attendees may choose to attend only 1 pre-conference workshop on Nov. 15, 2024, at no additional charge. There are a limited number of registrations available per workshop, and registration is first-come, first-served. We recommend selecting either a pre-conference workshop or a 1-day pass to ABRCMS because they occur at the same time.
• ASM member rates. If you do not see your correct member rate, please do not pay the registration fee. for membership assistance.
